Meet the Austin Humane Society’s Dog of the Week, Ginger! Ginger is a real volunteer favorite! The most common word volunteers use to describe her is "sweet." Ginger loves kids, has a huge heart, and is super affectionate. She is your typical older dog who mostly just wants to lay around near her people, but she is just as happy to go for an easy walk around the block. Ginger is completely house trained and knows many tricks. She will need to be adopted into a home without any other animals. Come meet Ginger today and get to know this great lady! She'll be waiting for you!

Meet the Austin Humane Society’s Cat of the Week, Christina! Christina is a shy girl who will warm up to you if you are patient with her. Once she gets used to you, she will show her sweet side. Christina has quite the personality that will come out with time. You will catch her playing with toys and doing her cat-thing. Christina is an independent lady who likes to do things on her own time, so she is very low maintenance. If you’re looking for an easy feline friend to add to your life, please stop in and meet her today!
