Yes, it was a tax free weekend, but it was also the weekend for the wedding of the year!! I'm talking about Kim Kardashian's 20 million dollar wedding extravaganza!! It will air as a two part TV experience on the "E" network on October 9th and 10th, but "E" was kind enough to give us a sneak peek!!  Despite the hype it looks like it was a beautiful wedding!

It's no secret that celebrities use Boxtox like toothpaste! If fact that's what Simon Cowell said back in 2008 when he was asked if he used it. His latest round of Botox seems to have not been the best experience. While filming " Britains Got Talent" his left eye and his face appeared a bit off. It also looks like he has some bruising on his left cheek.   It seems that with HD it made it even worse! Simon was not happy that's for sure! What do you think?

It was an amazing country music night on the American Idol finale last night at the Nokia Theater in Hollywood.  Lauren and Scotty each performed 3 songs, one of their favorites, one chosen for them by their idols Carrie Underwood and George Strait and their new single if they should win the competition , picked by season 10 mentor Jimmy Iovine.  Overall I think it was Lauren's night despite her straining her vocal chords early in the day! Scotty is already such a pro , so it would not surprise me if he took the title , but I really want to see a girl win this year! It's been 4 years since Jordan Sparks won back in 2007!Check out their performances of their new singles below! Who do you think will win?Â

Chelsea , Hines and Kirstie all brought their "A" game last night on DWTS!!  I know Hines is the fan favorite and I think he will win DWTS, I really have to hand it to Kirstie! For 60 years old she has been amazing all season and last night was not exception!  The difficult ariel dance moves the younger dancers have been perfoming and while she did not perform it perfectly she gave it her all and I love her for that!! This weekend was the finale of Saturday Night Live and while the season started out great, the writing and the performances of the last few months were not the best. This weekends SNL was a pleasant surprise! Justin Timberlake was hilarious and Lady Gaga was great too! It all boils down to great writing and from the opening to the close this one was one of the best SNL's I have ever seen! Check out JT's opening monologue below!! So funny! Beyonce won the Millenium Award at the Billboard Music Awards last night and did one of the most amazing performances I have ever seen of her current hit " Run The World (Girls)! Using the lates technology it really is stunning!  Enjoy!
Haley Reinhardt seemed shocked at first when she was sent home last night on American Idol. She certainly rallied and this season with so much talent anyone can go home at anytime. After a few seconds she belted out "Benny and the Jets" for the audience and judges and seemed to take it all in stride. Check out an exclusive interview with her after the show below!  Next week the finale will be at the Nokia Theatre on Tuesday and we will crown a new American Idol on Wednesday night at 7pm on FOX! My money is on Lauren for the win!
Each of the Top 3 performed 3 songs last night, their choice, Intercope Records President Jimmy Ivovine's choice and finally the judges choice. I love the going home episode's on American Idol.  These 3 young people left home and barely anyone knew who they were and now they go home and their hometown throws them a party! What a feeling that must be, plus we get to see them back in their auditions and how much they have already changed!Check out a concert Scotty gave during his hometown visit to Garner, North Carolina. The town raised $61,000 to give Scotty a big homecoming party and he put on quite a show! Enjoy!Â

The semi-finals brought out everything last night on DWTS, drama, great dancing and injuries, including a scary one for Kym Johnson and her partner Hines Ward. Though the injury was very serious Kym performed all 3 dances last night with a few pain killers to help her along. These dancers really are amazing! Something new was added last night called the "Last Chance Cha Cha Cha"!  It was a dance off of all 4 couples with one getting a bonus 15 points added to their total score! Check out the video below to see who one and the leaderboard totals. Things aren't looking too good for the Karate Kid this week!

He was "In it to win it" but American Idol hopeful James Durbin was sent home on Amercian Idol last night. He is in good company, if you remember Chris Daughtry was sent home the same week several years ago and his career continues to skyrocket!  I expect the same thing will happen for James!  Judge Steven Tyler premiered his new video last night and American Idol Jordin Sparks debuted her new single "I Am Woman" and it's not Helen Reddy's version. Jordan looks fantastic!   Check it out below along with James Durbin's goodbye to American Idol!

It is getting down to the wire on DWTS so a fan favorite is bound to go home each week. Ralph Macchio survied what looked like a sure elimination, but no one really wanted to send the Karate Kid home!! Romeo gave one of the best goodbye speeches I have ever heard and was given a standing ovation by the entire audience.  Check out the video below. The semi-finals begin next week!

Casey Abrams did not seem too surprised when it was announced last night that he was going home on American Idol. Â This was not the first time Casey was sent home, if you remember earlier on the judges used their only save of the season to keep him on. Â It paid off for Casey who was able to showcase his unique talents. Â I am going to miss him. Â Check out his goodbye below and at the end it's clear he and Haley Reinhardt are more than fond of each other.

Chris Jericho and fan favorite Cheryl Burke were sent home last night on DWTS!   I love that Chris had such a great sense of humor about it! Saying it was a good thing he was going home , since he had to go to the Royal Wedding and that would have been tough for rehearsals.  I was surprised to see Ralph Macchio up for elimination, but like American Idol no one is safe at this point.I loved the NKOTB and BSB performance, and Pia Toscanno looked and sounded lovely. Check out the performances below!

After a record 55 million votes...over 25 million more than last week and setting a new American Idol record two finalists were sent home. Â I think both will have great careers ahead of them.
 The buzz is that recently saved Casey Abrams and the lovely, jazzy Haley Reinhart are an item!!  It it's true it could explain Casey's makeover and Haley's best performance ever last night!!  We'll have to see what happens with these two! What do you think?Â

I love SATC and forgot how great those shows were! Â I watched every one of them on HBO and have seen them all a dozen times since. Â Â This past weekend I discovered them again on the E network.
