AUSTIN, Texas â July 14, 2011 â NBCâs popular reality series âThe Biggest Loserâ is
launching a 13-city cross-country search to find new contestants for the next edition of the hitshow. They will be stopping in Austin, Texas along the way. Individuals and teams of two whohave at least 85 lbs. to lose are encouraged to apply for the new season, which will begin airingin January, 2012.Casting producers are looking for outgoing and charismatic teams of two and individuals whohave the personality, desire and competitive edge to vie for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity tolose weight, change their lives forever and compete for a grand prize of $250,000. Candidatesmust be at least 18 years of age and legal residents of the United States.People are asked to not line up prior to three hours before the start of the casting call. Candidatesare encouraged to bring a non-returnable photo of themselves (and their partners if applying as ateam). Casting call applications will be provided on-site."We are thrilled that The Biggest Loser has decided to hold a casting call in Austin," said MayorLee Leffingwell. "Although we are sometimes hailed as a fit city, obesity is a problem in ourcommunity just like in so many others across the country. This is an excellent opportunity forAustinites to step up and challenge themselves to lose weight and get healthy. I encouragefolks who'd like some extra inspiration to try out for the show."

Mila Kunis has agreed to serve her country – by accompanying a sergeant serving in Afghanistan to the Marine Corps Ball. Sgt. Scott Moore, of the 3rd Battalion 2nd Marines in Afghanistan, posted a video to YouTube last week asking the actress to accompany him to the Marine Corps Ball on November 18th in Greenville, N.C. The couple will stay at the Hancock Park home during the weekend.Saturday:Â The couple will attend a charity event for American Friends of The Foundation of Prince William and Prince Harry at theÂ Santa Barbara Polo and Racquet Club. William will play in a polo match at the club.Â Saturday Night:Â A black-tie dinner at the Belasco Theater in downtown Los Angeles. William is president of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts, which will host the event.Sunday Morning: It's breakfast with American patrons of Tusk Trust
, an African conservation charity.
Later Sunday:Â They will travel to Skid Row to visit the Inner-City Arts school, a nonprofit academy that provides free classes in visual and performing arts to children from poor neighborhoods. At the school, the duke and duchess will join grade-school students in painting and working with ceramics and will watch a performance by teenage dancers.
Sunday Afternoon:Â They will attend a job fair for veterans at Sony Studios in Culver City before leaving Sunday night.
Jennifer Aniston recieved her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame yesterday and had her knew boyfriend Justin Theroux with her.Â It looks like he cleaned up a bit by getting rid of his beard and looked handsome and clean shaven.Â He's sitting to her left in the white shirt and slim black tie. Last weekend I headed down to Corpus Christi for a much needed weekend getaway!! This is my 3rd summer heading down to Corpus and it just keeps getting better every year!! The beaches are clean and wonderful and the people are friendly! There is also so much to do. This year I made sure to stop by the South Texas Botanical Gardens and Nature Center. There are more and more lovely additions each year! When your looking for a fun weekend getaway for the entire family , look no further than Corpus Christi!
