The King Lives On

Elvis was born January 8, 1935, which means he would be 74 if he were still alive today.

Just to show how popular he was (and still is), if you simply referred to him as "Elvis" or "The King" almost everyone would know exactly who you are talking about.  No further explanation would be needed.  Between daily tours at Graceland (where my son James and I intend to visit someday), licensing fees, and Cd sales, Elvis's estate makes millions of dollars each year.  There is no doubt that "The King" is more popular now than when he was alive.  He probably has more impersonators than any other performer in the world.

Long live the King of Rock 'n Roll!
