3 Reasons why this is the age when you're too old to go clubbing.

July 12, 2017

It's official. The exact age at which you are too old to go clubbing has been determined. It doesn't happen all at once, it kind of sneaks up on you beginning around age 31 -- that's the age when research says you start feeling like you'd rather catch a James Bond marathon and paint your toenails instead of going out.  Once you hit 37 years old, the study says you are over the hill and rolling down fast when it comes to the nighttime club scene and before you start arguing, there are some solid reasons behind the finding.

1. Dealing With the Hangover Hurts Too Much:  Yes, the morning after sucks.  Gone are the days of popping out of bed and hitting the treadmill for 45 minutes before work when you've only had 4 hours of sleep. Instead you wake up feeling certain a Mack truck drove through your bedroom and took your head with it.

2. Getting All Gussied Up Ain't as Fun: Prepping for a night out just feels like too much trouble. Especially when your sweatpants are calling to you from your favorite hook in the closet.

3. Gotta Get a Sitter: It's not just you anymore so someone's gotta stay with the kids and getting a sitter is not as simple as making one phone call.

Hard to argue with common sense. But the truth is, these days even Millenials would rather save money, put on their PJs and take a break from adulting by binge watching Black Mirror or The Night Of. Looks like a plan, right.
