The Austin Humane Society is the city’s largest no kill, non-profit animal adoption shelter dedicated to saving Austin’s homeless cats and dogs and educating our community about responsible pet ownership and reducing pet overpopulation.

1.5 -year-old

Meet the Austin Humane Society's #catoftheweek Samantha.This magical tabby is still waiting for her forever home after being transferred from a shelter during Hurricane Harvey. Samantha is almost 2 years old and she is as gorgeous as can be. Who wouldn't want to look at this face every day?? Come spend some time in our cattery and get to know Samantha. Dog of the Week:
Mixed Breed

Meet the Austin Humane Society's #dogoftheweek, Kiki, a ridiculously cute 3-year-old mixed breed! At just 45 pounds, Kiki is a great size. This dog has loads of personality and will really win you over with her charm and spirit! She's also got some awesome energy and will make a fantastic hiking buddy for an active person. Plus, once you've had your fill of adventures, she'll also enjoy some cuddle time on the couch. Come meet sweet girl Kiki at AHS today!

Senior Spotlight:
Mixed Breed

Ariana is a 9.5-year-old, gray mixed breed pup and this week’s #seniorspotlight. Ariana has absolutely the sweetest personality which matches the smile she’s almost constantly wearing. She is super friendly, loves to go on walks and give kisses. Give her a toy and she happily plays away. More importantly, Ariana needs her forever home to live out her senior years.
