Since their unofficial start in 1970, the Doobie Brothers have sold over 30 million albums and created a following of fans from leather-clad bikers to laid-back hippies. All but three of the band’s twelve albums have reached Gold Status or better on the Recording Industry scale, with two Double Platinum and one Triple Platinum earners. Over the past 40 years, the funk rock group has earned multiple Grammy Awards and nominations and raised more than $1 million for a variety of charities. The group’s biggest singles include “Black Water”, “What a Fool Believes”, and “Real Love”.
